The USF Bulls (5-5, 3-3) defeated Charlotte (3-7, 2-4) 59-27 on Saturday afternoon in Charlotte. With the win, the Bulls are one win away from being bowl eligible for the second straight year.

Bryce Archie went 11-for-16 with 126 yards passing and an interception, but the Bulls rushing game erupted thanks to Kelly Joiner running for a game-high 140 yards and two touchdowns. The Bulls finished with 425 yards rushing - compared to just 91 for Charlotte - in the win.

The Bulls led 14-10 at halftime before erupting with 31 points in the third quarter to turn this game into a blowout. Offensively, USF outgained the 49ers 551-347 in the game, and are 5-1 on the season when they rush for more than 100 yards.

The Bulls will look to earn bowl eligibility when they host Tulsa next Saturday. Kickoff on November 23rd between USF and Tulsa is scheduled for 3:30 PM at Raymond James Stadium.
