Lightning Knock Off Predators In OT

The Tampa Bay Lightning (12-8-2) defeated the Nashville Predators (7-12-5) 3-2 in overtime on Friday afternoon in Nashville.

The Lightning got goals from Anthony Cirelli and Brandon Hagel, both coming in the second period, to take a 2-1 lead. With the game tied 2-2 at the end of three, the game went to overtime. In the overtime period, it was Brayden Point scoring the game-winner on the power play to lift Tampa Bay to the win.

The Lightning return to Amalie Arena for the second game of a back-to-back when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night. Puck drop between the Lightning and Leafs is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Saturday night.
