In Louisiana, a blizzard warning yesterday was a first, according to a National Weather Service meteorologist. In New Orleans, where snow is rare, more than eight inches fell, breaking a record set in 1895. At least 30 million people are under snowstorm warning through this morning, from Texas into Georgia and Virginia.

At least two deaths that could be weather related have been reported in Texas.

The National Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Marion County until 10:00 this morning. There could be some snow, less than an inch.

There's also a Freeze Warning in effect. Other parts of the area, including Orange County, are under a Cold Weather Advisory. Wind chills overnight were expected to be as low as 25.

In Brevard County, there's a Wind Advisory in effect until 9:00 this morning. The NWS expects winds up to 25 miles an hour and gusts up to 40 miles an hour.

For an Escambia County couple, the recent snowfall is a treat.

Marty Justice and his girlfriend live in Walnut Hill now, but they have lived in the area for over 20 years. They think this is the first time they have seen snow in over a decade. His girlfriend tells ABC Action News it was magical.
