Broward County Public Schools board member Brenda Fam announces her pending resignation.
She represents District Six encompassing west-central Broward including Cooper City, Davie, Plantation, Sunrise and Weston.
The reason for her resignation is said to be her plans to move out of the district she serves.
Fam is a certified high sachool teacher and lawyer, serving as an Adjunct Law Professor at Nova Southeastern University, and volunteering as a certified Guardian Ad Litem, First Responder.
